Development of national systems for monitoring, assessment, compliance and enforcement were also discussed.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\">Participants\u00a0were provided\u00a0with an introduction to the London Protocol as a legal framework for marine pollution management and considered possible barriers to ratification and implementation of the treaty.
