the Association of Port Management of West and Central Africa (PMAWCA), the Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) was ably represented at the 8th Meeting of Harbour Masters and the Port Facility Security Officers (PFSOs) Meeting held in San Pedro, Cote d&#8217;Ivoire, from 4th to 6th July, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The meetings enable participants from PMAWCA Ports to share knowledge and experiences on issues related to their functions, strengthen cooperation and agreements among member ports, as well as collaborate with national and regional bodies to improve maritime safety and security, and the protection of marine environment.<\/p>\n<p>Representing both the GPA Harbour Master and the PFSO are Bubacarr Ceesay, Chief Pilot and Ebrima Sabally, Deputy PFSO\/Safety Manager respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Pilot Bubacarr Ceesay gave a vote of thanks on behalf of all participants at today&#8217;s closing ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Source:
