Delegates from the association&#8217;s member countries, including Angola, Togo, Mauritania, Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire, Senegal, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Benin, also took part in the event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These meetings of the technical committees of the PMAWCA, namely\u00a0Maritime Safety, Environmental Protection, and Operations (MSEPO); Technical Studies, Infrastructure and Development\u00a0(TSID); and Liaison Officers (LOs)\u00a0will take place from 19 to 21 June 2024, will provide a lever for sharing experiences and exchanging best practices with a view to more efficient port management.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In his speech, Cameroon&#8217;s Minister of Transport expressed the hope that the proceedings, which will come to a close on Friday 21 June 2024, will result in concrete and operational proposals on issues such as the safety of waste management, cases of wrecks, the problem of the availability of electrical energy in ports, the impact and prospects, and the role of Charg\u00e9s d&#8217;Affaires in strengthening port cooperation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The opening ceremony of the technical committee meetings of the<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":13865,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_eb_attr":"","_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_dont_email_post_to_subs":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[40,1289,442],"tags":[1493,1288,31,32,1485,1297,379,75,45],"class_list":["post-13864","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-blog","category-cameroon","category-news","tag-africa-en","tag-cameroon","tag-maritimafrica","tag-maritime","tag-maritime-in-africa","tag-maritime-industry-en","tag-pmawca","tag-ports","tag-shipping-en"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
