This strategic partnership leverages historical and economic relations between Namibia and Portugal to stimulate connectivity, trade, and investment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A Partnership Aligned with Global Gateway Initiative<\/strong><br \/>\nThe signed protocol falls within the European Commission&#8217;s Global Gateway initiative, which aims to mobilize 300 billion euros to develop smart, clean, and secure connections in energy, transportation, and digital sectors. The Port of Sines is positioned as a key European logistics hub, thanks to its natural characteristics and geostrategic location.<br \/>\nNamibia: A Key Green Hydrogen Player<br \/>\nNamibia, rich in renewable energy resources and critical raw materials, seeks to establish itself as a global leader in green hydrogen production. In this context, the ports of Walvis Bay and L\u00fcderitz constitute essential platforms to support the country&#8217;s ambitions for export and streamlining regional trade flows.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A Logistics Corridor for Future Energies<\/strong><br \/>\nThe partnership between Namport and APS is particularly important in developing an Atlantic hub and a logistics corridor for handling critical raw materials, synthetic fuels, green hydrogen, and its carriers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Five Years of Cooperation for Sustainable Transformation<\/strong><br \/>\nSpanning five years, this memorandum of understanding paves the way for exploring potential synergies in identified areas of collaboration for port development. This collaboration marks a crucial step in potentially improving trade and logistics between Namibia and Portugal, reinforcing their positions as strategic hubs for sustainable energy and global
