He emphasized the success of Obangame 2025 would significantly contribute to maintaining peace and security within the maritime domain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ql-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The exercise aims at assessing national systems&#8217; response to maritime threats, foster collaboration among participating institutions and bolster maritime security.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ql-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">It features various training events such as Maritime Domain Awareness and Maritime Operations Planning workshop.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ql-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants are engaged \u00a0in lectures, practice maritime security tactics, and drill cooperatively to enhance collective maritime law enforcement capabilities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ql-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Exercise Obangame is an annual combined Central and Western African Multinational Maritime Exercise in the Gulf of Guinea, focusing on increased regional cooperation and Maritime safety.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ql-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The exercise involves West and Central African navies and Maritime stakeholders in partnership with the United States and Euro-Atlantic navies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ql-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 2025 edition will be held from 10 to 16 May 2025, in collaboration with US Naval force, Africa (NAVAF) and hosted by Cabo Verde in Praia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ql-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Yaound\u00e9 Architecture for Maritime Security regional information sharing tool structure will be used for information sharing.\u00a0The Multinational Maritime Coordination Centre Zone F, Maritime Operating Centres at NHQ, Western and Eastern Naval Commands are involved \u00a0in the exercise.<\/p>\n<p>Source : Ghana Navy<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An opening ceremony for Exercise Obangame Express 2025 was held<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":18043,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_eb_attr":"","_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_dont_email_post_to_subs":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[40,1242,1923,442],"tags":[1493,2687,1241,1331,31,32,1485,1297,1377,489,1388,45],"class_list":["post-18042","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-blog-en","category-ghana-en-2","category-navy","category-news-en","tag-africa-en","tag-daily-news","tag-ghana-en","tag-ghana-navy","tag-maritimafrica","tag-maritime","tag-maritime-in-africa","tag-maritime-industry-en","tag-maritime-security-en","tag-navy","tag-news","tag-shipping-en"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
