With a lifting capacity of 40 tonnes, this equipment will increase the storage capacity of containers in the yards and help to improve the fluidity of all operations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These machines will add to an already well-stocked fleet comprising 8 STS quayside gantry cranes, 26 RTG yard gantry cranes, 5 mobile cranes and 11 reachstackers. Congo Terminal expects 3 more RTGs by the end of 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2018The purchase of this new equipment and the construction of a new port platform at the East Mole demonstrate our commitment to supporting the country&#8217;s competitiveness and the development of trade in the region,\u2019 explains Sandrine WAMY, Congo Terminal Operations Manager.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company is continuing its investment program to make Pointe-Noire the benchmark deepwater port and the transhipment platform of excellence for the entire southern part of the West African coast.
