With sustained operational momentum, MPS is on course to close the year with approximately\u00a0<strong>2.3 million TEUs<\/strong>, reinforcing its position as the region\u2019s leading gateway for maritime trade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-09ccde9bb53773773dc4fc4c0036c4bf\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">MPS Chief Operating Officer,\u00a0<strong>Mahmoud Ayoub<\/strong>, highlighted the significance of this achievement while pointing to even greater potential ahead:<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-52fb99b31037a124689eb27c91b6f108\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cWith tighter coordination across berth, yard, and gate operations, and smarter deployment of every machine, we\u2019re gearing up for even faster vessel turnarounds and higher performance.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-97f231108dae8c4a513efae88fc749aa\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">He added that improved integration between operational zones\u2014supported by\u00a0<strong>real-time performance dashboards<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>predictive maintenance systems<\/strong>\u2014is enabling MPS to accelerate throughput and build a unified culture of operational excellence across all teams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c6108b996fe345120d463420ec2d6226\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Planning Manager\u00a0<strong>Muhammad Rashid<\/strong>\u00a0echoed this direction, emphasizing the role of advanced planning tools in unlocking further gains:<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-37097c01349299036f4f4586d4af82eb\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cWe are enhancing our vessel, yard, and gate planning systems with deeper data analytics, enabling us to predict congestion before it happens, allocate equipment more accurately, and synchronize every move\u2014from STS cranes to eRTGs and terminal trucks.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e8d70d47262c50630d2c4a59ffd3b33e\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Commenting on the terminal\u2019s forward strategy, MPS CEO\u00a0<strong>Mohamed Samara<\/strong>\u00a0stressed that the next wave of performance improvements will be driven by precision and enhanced capability:<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-f59cfe67371be40641be479a07c6326b\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cThis benchmark is not for us to reach; it is simply a marker on our journey. The next milestone is receiving and commissioning\u00a0<strong>15 new gantry cranes<\/strong>\u00a0in the first half of the year (3 STS and 12 eRTGs), backed by 41 electric terminal trucks and trailers (eTTs), which will uplift the MPS Terminal 3 annual throughput capacity to\u00a0<strong>3 million TEUs<\/strong>.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-732bfba043a80df534eae1c0ef313932\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mr. Samara noted that beyond equipment expansion, the integration of\u00a0<strong>better data<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>better planning<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>synchronized execution<\/strong>\u00a0across all terminal activities will be the key to driving sustainable high performance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c45c2fd79c6d25b0c0c357671f0d251f\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The remarkable growth trajectory of MPS reflects the strong commitment of its shareholders; the\u00a0<strong>Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Africa Global Logistics<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>APM Terminals<\/strong>, to invest in modern infrastructure, cutting-edge technology, and the continuous development of human capability.
