Abiy Ahmed Ali, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, visited the world-class facilities of Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The visit began at the Horizon Terminal (HDTL), a key hub for local, regional, and international hydrocarbon supply. The terminal features a total storage static capacity of 371,000 cubic meters, dynamic capacity of 4.8 million cubic meters, two berths in Doraleh Oil Jetty (SJTP) accommodating vessels of 30,000 DWT and 80,000 DWT, 12 truck loading bays, a pumping capacity of 2,000 tons per hour per line. In average, there are 360 loaded fuel trucks per day leaving the Horizon Terminal amounting to 14.400 cubic meters per day and gated out.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The delegation then proceeded to the Djibouti Multipurpose Port (DMP), which accommodates vessels of up to 100,000 DWT and offers some of the most advanced port facilities in Africa. Key features include multiple terminals handling bulk, breakbulk, containers, and RoRo cargo, served by 1,200 meters of quay line with five berths at water depth of 15.35 meters chart datum. DMP provides 690 hectares of land dedicated to industrial activities, delivers operational performance with a daily discharge of 20 000 metric ton of solid bulk. 90 RoRo units discharged per hour, 31 containers per hour Lo\/Lo and Wo\/Wo, and Directly connected to the railway.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This visit demonstrated the strategic importance and high operational standards of Djibouti\u2019s port and logistics infrastructure in supporting regional and Ethiopian foreign trade.<\/p>\n<p>Source : DPFZA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On January 11, 2026,\u00a0H.E.
