Under this agreement, Marsa Maroc, through its subsidiary Marsa Maroc International Logistics (MMIL), will carry out rehabilitation works, deploy port equipment, and provide its expertise in bulk handling to operate two jetties at the port of Monrovia. The project is scheduled to enter into gradual service starting in the first half of 2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This management contract represents the first step in a strategic partnership aimed, in a second phase, at concluding a concession agreement for the development and operation of a new multipurpose terminal at the port of Monrovia that plays a pivotal role in Liberia\u2019s port landscape. As the country\u2019s main deep-water port, it handles the majority of import and export flows, making it the essential maritime gateway for the Liberian economy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This project will significantly enhance the operational performance of the port of Monrovia and strengthen Liberia\u2019s port and logistics competitiveness, contributing directly to the country\u2019s economic development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The partnership is aligned with a shared long-term vision between Marsa Maroc and the National Port Authority of Liberia, combining Marsa Maroc\u2019s operational expertise with the port authority&#8217;s strategic leadership to modernize and energize the country\u2019s port infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ABOUT THE NATIONAL PORT AUTHORITY OF LIBERIA<\/strong><br \/>\nThe National Port Authority of Liberia is the organization overseeing the management, administration and development of all Liberian ports. Through its mandate, the NPAL plays a strategic role in facilitating trade, supporting national economic growth, and strengthening Liberia\u2019s integration into regional and international maritime trade.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ABOUT MARSA MAROC<\/strong><br \/>\nMarsa Maroc is an African port operator managing 34 terminals across 20 ports, handling more than 60 million tons of cargo annually.
