Mr. <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Philippe Coudray<\/span><\/span>, Operations Director of <a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.boluda.eu?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"932\" data-end=\"993\">BOLUDA Towage<\/a>, representing its CEO; and Ms. <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Asta Rosa Ciss\u00e9<\/span><\/span>, Regional Director of <a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aglgroup.com?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1085\" data-end=\"1165\">Africa Global Logistics (AGL)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1517\">Acquired by the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Ivoirienne de Remorquage et de Sauvetage<\/span><\/span> (IRES), a subsidiary of BOLUDA Towage, the two ASD-type tugboats\u2014named <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">VB KUDU<\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">VB NYALA<\/span><\/span>\u2014were built in 2025 by the Dutch group <a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.damen.com?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1411\" data-end=\"1480\">Damen Shipyards Group<\/a>, a global reference in shipbuilding.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1519\" data-end=\"1914\">Measuring 22.81 meters in length and delivering 3,806 kW of power, these units have a bollard pull of 70 tonnes. Their performance will enable more precise assistance to large vessels, reduce risks associated with port maneuvers, and improve the fluidity of berthing and departure operations. As such, they represent a key asset for enhancing the safety and efficiency of maritime traffic flows.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1916\" data-end=\"2318\">According to the representative of the PAA\u2019s Acting Director General, this investment addresses a major strategic challenge: maintaining the competitiveness of the Port of Abidjan in an increasingly competitive port environment. These new assets will also help strengthen operational safety, improve the quality of services provided to shipowners, and sustainably support the growth of port activities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1916\" data-end=\"2318\"><a href=\"https:\/\/maritimafrica.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/687033569_1391835899642801_8260409444583340090_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" continuous assistance to vessels, day and night.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2477\" data-end=\"2728\">Beyond the technical aspect, this acquisition reflects the determination of BOLUDA Towage to anticipate the transformations of global maritime transport, characterized by increasing trade volumes and rapidly evolving international logistics standards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2730\" data-end=\"2988\">Through this initiative, the Port Autonome d\u2019Abidjan and BOLUDA Towage reaffirm their shared ambition to make the Port of
