In an increasingly complex maritime environment characterized by transnational threats, effective information exchange remains a cornerstone of maritime safety and security.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants discussed practical measures to improve interoperability between centres, accelerate information flows, and promote a common understanding of the maritime security picture across the region. Discussions also highlighted the importance of strengthening human resource capacities through the development of standardized training programmes that would foster common procedures, professional competencies, and operational culture across the regional maritime security architecture.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The seminar reaffirmed the collective commitment of regional stakeholders to building a more connected, resilient, and responsive maritime security architecture in the Western Indian Ocean, supporting the shared objective of safer and more secure seas for
