The visit took place in the presence of Mr. Florentino Mendes PEREIRA, Guinea-Bissau&#8217;s Minister of Transport and Communications, Mr. Mahamadou BONKOUNGOU, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the EBOMAF Group, as well as the Director General of the Guinea-Bissau Port Administration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The meeting provided an opportunity to review the progress of the Port of Bissau dredging project, which is co-financed by BOAD, and to identify the measures required to ensure the continuation of the project under the best possible technical and financial conditions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mr. Serge EKUE and Mr. Mahamadou BONKOUNGOU were also received in audience by the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Guinea-Bissau. Discussions focused on the progress of the port dredging works and the wreck removal operations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With a total pre-tax cost of CFA Francs 22.594 billion, including CFA Francs 15 billion financed by BOAD, the project represents a major step towards strengthening the operational capacity of the Port of Bissau, improving maritime connectivity, and
