James R. Bernard, affirmed that stakeholders and port users are integral part of port operations, and must therefore be engaged on every initiative undertaken to modernize the ports. He underscored the importance of collective participation as the Authority advances its expansion agenda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In two presentations, Management outlined that, under the automated access process, all entities are to submit staff listings for credential entry at the pedestrian gate, while vehicle owners are to submit registration documents for enrollment into the automated system, enabling identification of all vehicles by their license plates. Visitors will be required to pay one United States dollar, or its equivalent in Liberian dollars, per hour.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Management noted that these measures will align Liberia with international port standards, notably the Port Facility Security Plan under the ISPS Code, while curbing unauthorized entry, improving traffic management, and reducing congestion.
