Sarat Braimah, NIWA\u2019s Lagos Area Manager, said the programme is designed not merely as a clean-up exercise but as an environmental and economic intervention capable of supporting communities that depends on the waterways for their livelihoods.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Dr. Adegboyega Oyetola, CON has advocated the strategic development of Nigeria\u2019s Inland Waterways as an important asset for economic diversification, employment creation and sustainable development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stakeholders from both the Public and Private sectors have been invited to the official unveiling of the initiative which is scheduled for Tuesday, 18th August, 2026 at Bic Garden, Lagos.<\/p>\n<p
