style=\"text-align: justify;\">Key stakeholders across Ghana\u2019s ocean and water resources sectors have gathered at the La Villa Boutique Hotel in Accra for a two-day high-level review of the draft Ghana Blue Economy Commission Bill.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The strategic engagement brings together a broad coalition of experts and leaders\u2014spanning academia, civil society, development agencies, the private sector, maritime authorities, and local fishing communities, to scrutinize and refine the proposed legislation ahead of its submission to Parliament.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Opening the session, Fred Antwi Boadu, Coordinator of the Blue Economy Secretariat, highlighted the bill\u2019s potential to transform how the country manages its vast marine, coastal, and inland waters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He emphasized that the legislation will establish a robust legal and institutional foundation to unify governance, unlock sustainable economic opportunities, and safeguard vital aquatic ecosystems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;This bill is designed to translate Ghana\u2019s blue economy vision into a coordinated, enduring institutional framework,&#8221; Mr. Antwi Boadu stated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He stressed that the ultimate goal is to protect vulnerable marine habitats while securing resilient livelihoods for millions of Ghanaians dependent on water-based industries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Throughout the review, participants are delivering technical inputs and strategic recommendations to ensure the final bill reflects modern environmental standards, addresses climate resilience, and balances economic development with long-term ecological balance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once enacted, the Ghana Blue Economy Commission will serve as the central authority coordinating national efforts toward a prosperous and sustainable
