Makame Sufiani, with IUCN Regional Director Mr. Luther Anukur participating, the delegation explored Seychelles\u2019 experiences in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sustainable fisheries &amp; aquaculture<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Blue finance &amp; marine conservation<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Blue Economy governance &amp; marine spatial planning<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ecosystem restoration &amp; climate resilience<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Circular economy &amp; fisheries waste valorisation<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Green ports &amp; maritime infrastructure<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Entrepreneurship, innovation &amp; value addition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Visits to Cousin, Moyenne and Silhouette provided practical insights into conservation, ecosystem restoration and protected-area management, while engagements with local entrepreneurs showcased how marine resources and waste can be transformed into new economic opportunities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The exchange identified opportunities for continued cooperation in blue finance, blue carbon, sustainable tourism, marine research, circular economy, women and youth entrepreneurship, aquaculture, conservation and human-capital development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As two Indian Ocean island jurisdictions, Seychelles and Zanzibar share many opportunities and challenges in sustainably managing our ocean and coastal resources.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The exchange reinforces a shared vision: healthy oceans, resilient communities and sustainable economic opportunities through a regenerative Blue Economy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Department of Blue Economy looks forward to strengthening this partnership and continuing knowledge exchange with Zanzibar and its partners.<\/p>\n<p>Source : Department of Blue Economy &#8211;
