The Cotonou Port Authority has signed with Damen Shipyards, last week a contract of acquisition of 2 tugs of 85-ton bollard pull, types ASD 2813. Expected in early 2021, their delivery, will make the port of Cotonou now ready for the qualitative and safe towing of the largest ships.<\/p>\n
Recall that, the ASD Tug 2813 are very maneuverable and are equipped with modular winch options, delivering render and recovery capabilities at up to 3 meters wave height. The logistically developed layout of the winches ensures a spacious, obstacle-free working deck with optimal towing point positioning for safe ship-handling operations in harbors, estuaries and offshore terminals.<\/p>\n
