#3366ff;\">23<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0july<\/span> its inauguration ceremony as the newest IMO regional association for women in the maritime sector (WIMA) and a conference on &#8221; <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Maritime security in the Gulf of Guinea<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> &#8220;<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The panel discussion opened to all on \u201c <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">The impact of maritime insecurity on shipping in the Gulf of Guinea, challenges and the way forward <\/span>\u201d will be opened by the Ghana Minister of Transport, the Hon Kwaku Ofori Asiamah, and feature high profile speakers including IMO Secretary-General Kitack Lim and the Minister of State for Transportation of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Gbemisola Ruqayyah Saraki.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Let us recall that, there are already seven WIMAs that have been establilshed across Africa, Arab States, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America and the Pacific, covering some 152 countries and 700+ participants.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The opening ceremony starts at 10am GMT at the MT
