The Commander, Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) BEECROFT, Rear Admiral Bashir Mohammed made the announcement on Thursday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/maritimafrica.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/271512648_665273421508466_918576987285464582_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8265 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/maritimafrica.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/271512648_665273421508466_918576987285464582_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"576\" height=\"433\" srcset=\"https:\/\/maritimafrica.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/271512648_665273421508466_918576987285464582_n.jpg 576w, https:\/\/maritimafrica.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/271512648_665273421508466_918576987285464582_n-300x226.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said in late December, the Navy intensified intelligence gathering, water patrols and internal security efforts under Operation Mesa.
