\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Director General of the Douala Port Authority (PAD), Mr. Cyrus Ngo&#8217;o and the General Administrator of the KTH Company signed last Thursday, March 31st, a Convention for the construction, operation and renovation before retrocession to the PAD, of 42 ha of mixed bulk carriers terminals. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With a total cost of <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">280 billion CFA francs<\/span>, this project is carried out under a <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">BOT type agreement<\/span>: financing entirely sought by the promoter without endorsement or guarantee from the PAD, for a period of <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">5 years of construction and 25 years of operation<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With a <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">length of 900 linear meters of quay<\/span> on the right bank of the Wouri River of the Port of Douala-Bonab\u00e9ri, the construction of this new terminal is divided into 2 phases:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Phase 1<\/strong> :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">450 ml of quay Silos with a cumulative capacity of 30,000 tons<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Road and railroad<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Weighing station<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Maintenance workshop<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Administrative building R+3 of 200 sqm<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Electricity supply station<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fire fighting system<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Equipped parking lot<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Three warehouses of 2000, 3000 and 10.500 m\u00b2 respectively<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Storage area<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pipe connections<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Access gate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Phase 2 :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">450 ml of quay Silos with a cumulative capacity of 30,000 tons (continued from phase 1)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Road and railroad (continued phase 1)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Weighing station (continued phase 1)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Maintenance workshop (continued phase 1)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Administrative building R+3 of 200 m\u00b2<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Electricity supply station<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Extension of the fire fighting system<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Extension of the equipped parking lot<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Construction of additional warehouses<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Expansion of storage area<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Construction of 900 ml of quay including supply of all handling equipment silos with a total capacity of 60,000 tons built and conveyors installed<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Roads and railroads built<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">04 warehouses of which two of 3000 and two of 2000 m\u00b2 built<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">02 warehouses of 10500 m\u00b2 each storage areas built<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">pipes built and put into service<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">fire fighting system built<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">two administrative buildings of R+3 built<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Let us recall that this construction is part of the great process of physical transformation of the port of Douala-Bonab\u00e9ri through the renovation, modernization and development of the capacities of reception and handling of
