The Director General of the Douala Port Authority (PAD), Mr. Cyrus Ngo’o and the General Administrator of the KTH Company signed last Thursday, March 31st, a Convention for the construction, operation and renovation before retrocession to the PAD, of 42 ha of mixed bulk carriers terminals.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a total cost of 280 billion CFA francs<\/span>, this project is carried out under a BOT type agreement<\/span>: financing entirely sought by the promoter without endorsement or guarantee from the PAD, for a period of 5 years of construction and 25 years of operation<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a length of 900 linear meters of quay<\/span> on the right bank of the Wouri River of the Port of Douala-Bonab\u00e9ri, the construction of this new terminal is divided into 2 phases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phase 1 : <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

450 ml of quay <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Silos with a cumulative capacity of 30,000 tons <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Road and railroad <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weighing station <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maintenance workshop Administrative building R+3 of 200 sqm <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Electricity supply station <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fire fighting system <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Equipped parking lot <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three warehouses of 2000, 3000 and 10.500 m\u00b2 respectively <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Storage area <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pipe connections <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access gate<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PHASE 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

450 ml of quay <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Silos with a cumulative capacity of 30,000 tons (continued from phase I) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Road and railroad (continued phase I) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

02 warehouses of 10500 m\u00b2 each <\/p>\n\n\n\n

storage areas built <\/p>\n\n\n\n

pipes built and put into service <\/p>\n\n\n\n

fire fighting system built <\/p>\n\n\n\n

two administrative buildings of R+3 built<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
