The plan comprises the ports of the Red Sea (Hurghada and Al Ain Al Sokhna), the Mediterranean Sea (including Alexandria, Damietta and Port Said), with the aim of increasing the length of Egyptian berths to 76 kilometers, he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The minister also inspected work at Hamad Port facilities and made a tour of its various sections.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As regards cooperation between Egypt and Qatar, Wazir asserted that plans are underway for establishing mega projects in the fields of harbors and maritime transport especially the sustainable and friendly electric transport, noting that his visit to Doha is the first of its kind since he assumed office. His visit aims at getting briefed on the mega projects implemented by Qatar in the field of infrastructure and the role that can be played by the Egyptian companies in such vital sectors.<\/p>\n<p
