He indicated that both countries have several overlapping interests and expressed the intent of Norway to further collaborate with Mauritius in the fisheries sector.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/maritimafrica.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/283473698_542738970847082_4436748631642444977_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8991 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/maritimafrica.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/283473698_542738970847082_4436748631642444977_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" srcset=\"https:\/\/maritimafrica.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/283473698_542738970847082_4436748631642444977_n.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/maritimafrica.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/283473698_542738970847082_4436748631642444977_n-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/maritimafrica.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/283473698_542738970847082_4436748631642444977_n-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mr Gram-Johannessen also stressed on the importance of joining the Blue Justice Initiative which provides technical support mechanisms to assist countries party to the declaration to address transnational organised crime in the global fishing industry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Issues pertaining to developing aquaculture, technical assistance, and capacity building in seafood quality and safety control as well as joint ventures in marine biotechnology were also evoked.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Norway is one of the world\u2019s leading nations in production from marine fisheries and aquaculture.
