Handover ceremony at the headquarters of the Union of African Shippers’ Councils (UASC)
On Tuesday June 27, 2023, the headquarters of the Union of African Shippers’ Councils (UASC) was the scene of an important handover ceremony. The occasion marked the transfer of responsibilities from the outgoing Technical Director, Mr. GOHUGO Bruno, who had held the post since 2018, to the new incoming Technical Director, Mr. CUMBA DINAMUENE Constantino, of Angolan nationality, for a four (04) year term.
The ceremony was presided over by UASC Secretary General, Mr Giscard Lilian OGOULA, and enjoyed the distinguished presence of Mr Auguste MBAPPE PENDA, Director General of the Conseil National des Chargeurs du Cameroun and UASC Statutory Treasurer, as well as Mr Simao MATEUS ANTONIO FRANCISCO, Administrator of ARCCLA.
In an atmosphere of gratitude, joy and valuable advice, the outgoing Technical Director, Mr. GOHUGO Bruno, symbolically passed the torch to his successor in the presence of all participants.
This handover is a direct consequence of the recent appointment of the new Technical Director at the UASC Board of Directors meeting held from May 09 to 11, 2023 in Dakar, Senegal.
