While celebrating the ISO certification of the Onne and Calabar port complexes, it is universally acknowledged that continued investment in port infrastructure is crucial for ensuring sustainable growth.

During discussions with the Nigerian Ports Authority, the Minister consistently highlighted the significant potential of the Onne port. Ongoing investments in reconstruction and rehabilitation, exceeding one billion US dollars in value, particularly at the Onne port, demonstrate a commitment to unlocking its full potential.

In conclusion of this activity, Minister Adegboyega conducted an on-site evaluation, carefully examining both the Federal Lighter Terminal and the Federal Ocean Terminal, thereby ensuring a comprehensive analysis of port operations.
