The High Commercial Court of Dakar (TCHCD), in collaboration with the Community of Port Actors of Senegal, is strengthening maritime mediation with the creation of the National Maritime Mediation Committee (CNMM).

In this context, a shared vision workshop was held from September 26 to 28, 2024. The workshop brought together magistrates, lawyers, experts, and port actors to finalize the mechanisms of the National Maritime Mediation Committee.

Supported by Feed the Future Senegal Policy Systems Services (PSS), funded by USAID Senegal and implemented by the DAI Global/IPAR think tank consortium, this initiative aims to promote more efficient commercial justice, in order to secure investments and facilitate the resolution of maritime disputes, thus contributing to Senegal’s economic stability and prosperity.
