Partnership between DP World and Women In Logistics – Africa (WILA)

DP World recently announced through a press release its partnership with Women In Logistics – Africa (WILA) to promote women’s leadership and development in the logistics sector in Africa.

As a first step in this partnership, DP World offered 52 women members of WILA free access to its Container Terminal Operations (CTO) training programme.

Led by Christiane OHIN-TRAORÉ, its President and Founder, WILA is a network of more than 260 women members working in the supply chain/logistics industry from more than ten countries in Africa.

Note that this partnership is an opportunity for DP World to act upon its responsibilities towards driving forward “Our World, Our Future”, its sustainability strategy and its commitment to education and women’s empowerment.
