GHANA NAVY : TRAINING MN3 COURSE 1/ 2024 CLOSES IN GRAND STYLE
The Leadership Training School (LTS), on Wednesday 4 September 2024, held a graduation parade to mark the completion of Musicians Grade 3 Course (MN3) 1/24 at Naval Base, Tema.
The six-month course was aimed at enhancing the musical knowledge and instrument proficiency of the bandsmen. During the parade, the audience were treated to a remarkable display of musical talents, reflecting the dedication and hard work of the course participants.
The Guest of Honour, Director Band General Headquarters, Colonel Matthew Kwasi Asuka, in his address emphasized the ceremony’s importance in highlighting the Ghana Navy Musical Band’s commitment to excellence and professionalism within the Ghana Armed Forces.
He advised the graduands to embody discipline, teamwork, and integrity within their respective units, utilizing their talents to inspire and represent the Armed Forces. The Guest of Honour commended the Commanding Officer and instructors for their dedication and exceptional work which instilled in the graduands the values of teamwork and professional excellence.
The Acting Commanding Officer, LTS, Lieutenant Commander Yaw Owusu Danso on his part expressed appreciation for the graduands’ dedication, commitment, and perseverance throughout the Course.
Awards were presented to some graduands who distinguished themselves in the course of the training. Among other awards, Able Seaman II Attafuah Emmanuella Mensimah, Able Seaman II Awallah Godwin, and Able Seaman II Ayer Williet Kwaku were acknowledged for their exceptional performance, ranking first, second, and third respectively in the overall order of merit.
