Guinea: Handover ceremony for two new handling cranes from Alport Conakry
On Thursday 25 August 2022, Mr Yaya SOW, Minister of Infrastructure and Transport accompanied by his counterpart of the Economy, Finance and Planning Mr Moussa CISSÉ presided over the handing over ceremony of two new handling cranes of the company Alport Conakry, concessionaire of the conventional terminal of the port of Conakry.
The Managing Director of the Conakry Port Authority, Mr. Mamadou Biro DIALLO also took part in the handing over ceremony of the two handling cranes with a capacity of 154 tons each.
It should be noted that the acquisition of these new cranes in addition to the 4 existing ones, will reinforce the operational capacities of the Port of Conakry in terms of the rate of handling of ships.
