SENEGAL: INAUGURATION OF THE NATIONAL NAVY SCHOOL BY PRESIDENT MACKY SALL

The President of the Republic of Senegal, His Excellency Macky SALL, presided on Monday, June 13, 2022, in the presence of the Minister of the Armed Forces, Mr. Sidiki Kaba, the Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy, Mr. Alioune Ndoye, and high military authorities, the inauguration ceremony of the National Navy School (EMAN), located in the enclosure of the General Mountaga Diallo military camp of Bel-Air.

Built according to international standards and equipped with modern facilities, EMAN’s mission is to ensure the military, technical and maritime training of sailors in all specialties of the National Navy.

“I have been keen on the development of our national navy, an essential component of our defense system”, says President Macky SALL.

In the wake, the President of the Republic of Senegal, invited the officials of the National School of the Navy to join the dynamics of trades to accompany the discovery and exploitation of oil and gas resources offshore.

Moreover, he reminded the trainees of the need to cultivate rigor, determination, endurance and availability. Values that are the foundation of the navy.
