MOWCA Launches Recruitment for a Technical Assistant to Support the Implementation of an AfDB-Funded Strategic Project and Procurement Activities
The Maritime Organization of West and Central Africa (MOWCA) has issued a Call for Expressions of Interest for the recruitment of an Individual Consultant who will serve as Technical Assistant under a regional project financed by the African Development Bank (AfDB).
This initiative forms part of an AfDB-funded project aimed at conducting a regional assessment of ship repair, maintenance and recycling infrastructure, dry dock facilities, and related maritime services across West and Central Africa.
The selected consultant will provide technical support for the implementation of the project and assist MOWCA in carrying out the procurement activities required for its successful execution.
Interested candidates are invited to consult the Terms of Reference and the Procurement Notice made available by MOWCA.
Applications must be submitted to the MOWCA General Secretariat no later than Friday, 31 July 2026, at 16:30 GMT, by email to infos@omaoc.org, with a copy to mariko@omaoc.org.
This project represents an important milestone in the modernization of maritime infrastructure across West and Central Africa and reflects the shared commitment of the AfDB and MOWCA to strengthening regional capacities in ship maintenance, ship recycling, and specialized maritime services.
