Cameroon: IMO Experts at the Douala Maritime Museum

On Thursday, September 22, 2022, the Managing Director of the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council, Mr. Auguste MBAPPE PENDA, received at the Douala Maritime Museum, Experts of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) present in Cameroon since Monday, as part of the audit of IMO member states.

The experts were accompanied by officials of the Ministry of Transport of Cameroon for the visit of the Museum.

Under the leadership of Mr. Patrice EKWALLA, Service Head at the Douala Maritime Museum, the IMO Experts accompanied by officials of the Ministry of Transport of Cameroon visited the various exhibitions. For more than an hour, they were immersed in the maritime history of Cameroon.

At the end of the visit, the guests of the Douala Maritime Museum left their impressions in the guestbook of the museum.
