COMMANDER IN CHIEF COMMISSIONS TWO NEW OFFICERS IN SEYCHELLES DEFENCE FORCES

The Commander-in-Chief of the Seychelles Defence Forces, President Wavel Ramkalawan, had the honor of commissioning two new officers in SDF during a brief ceremony held at State House this morning.

The commissioning was done in the presence of the vice president Mr Ahmed Afif and members of the Defence Forces Council.

The two officer cadets commissioned to rank of Second Lieutenant were two pilots from Seychelles Air Force; Daryl Joubert and Sylvie Tamboo.

Their commissioning follows their successful completion of the officer cadet course from the Officer Training Academy in Chennai-India.

As the Commander In Chief, President Wavel Ramkalwan urged the newly commissioned officers to keep striving for excellence in their line of duty and to apply professionalism in all that they do.
