NIMASA, RMU & GMA Strengthen Maritime Training & Certification

Officials from NIMASA met with RMU (Regional Maritime University) and GMA to explore collaboration in maritime training, certification, and capacity building. Led by Mrs. Nneka Obianyor, the delegation toured RMU’s facilities and discussed best practices to enhance industry standards.

RMU’s Dr. Jethro W. Brooks Jr. and GMA’s Nana Boakye-Boampong welcomed the initiative, emphasizing the importance of regional cooperation in developing maritime expertise.

This partnership marks a major step towards a stronger, more competitive maritime sector in West Africa.
