RMIFC Participates in the 3rd CGIMA Plenary Session in Mauritius

The Regional Maritime Information Fusion Centre (RMIFC) is participating, on 24 July 2026 in Mauritius, in the 3rd Plenary Session of the Contact Group on Illicit Maritime Activities (CGIMA), organized under the auspices of the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC).

This high-level meeting brings together Member States, regional and international partners, as well as stakeholders engaged in combating illicit maritime activities. Discussions focus on assessing progress achieved, strengthening regional cooperation, and identifying common priorities to address maritime security challenges in the Western Indian Ocean.

Through its participation, RMIFC reaffirms its commitment to enhancing maritime information sharing and strengthening cooperation mechanisms aimed at preventing and combating illicit activities at sea.
