Virtual Ports & Logistics Summit (VPLS)

A new online event for the African port and terminal industry is about to be launched. Under the motto “African Ports, Aligning Investment Opportunities & Operations” the first Virtual Ports & Logistics Summit will take place on 25 November 2020.

Hosted by the Euro-Institute for Information and Technology Transfer in Environmental Protection (EITEP), the virtual summit will promote activities for infrastructure development in Africa.

EITEP Institute based in Germany, intends to bring together the industry / decision makers from the industrialised countries and Africa to exchange experiences directly hereby focusing on technology, operations, and people by organizing international conferences and exhibitions, seminars, virtual summits, journals etc. covering infrastructural subjects.

The event will host global and African ports operators, associations, governmental representatives, political authorities, investors, consultants etc.

The Keynote Speech will be focusing on: “What does Africa need in real investment in order to realise the potential in the next 20 years”, presented by HPC Hamburg Port Consulting and the Panel Discussion on “Key Challenges of African Ports” will bring together representatives from the African Union Commission, the Ministry of Transport Kingdom of MoroccoNAMPORT as well as EU Department of Marine Fisheries.

The summit will be announced and marketed internationally with the focus on Africa and networking with African Key players.
