The Convention on Business Integrity/Integrity Organization, in collaboration with the Maritime Anti-corruption Network (MACN) and with the support of Siemens AG, is organizing two webinars on the topic: “Collective action: Identifying & Building Alliances with Port Users on Cargo & Vessel Transactions.”
The objectives of these webinars, which will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 for Eastern Ports and Thursday, August 13, 2020 for Western Ports respectively, are:
- To begin identifying and building alliances with port users on cargo and vessel transactions using a collective action to tackle inefficient operations at the ports that encourage corruptions, and
- To encourage and demand a greater compliance with standard procedures at the ports.
