ASIS Boats builds 2 police boats for the Direction Générale des Affaires Maritimes et Portuaires de Côte d’Ivoire

Maritime solution provider ASIS Boats recently announced through a press release that the Direction Générale des Affaires Maritimes et Portuaires (DGAMP) of Côte d’Ivoire contacted them with a request to provide a police boat to perform various tasks related not only to protecting the coastal borders and the ports but also intervene rapidly in search and rescue missions along the rivers of the tropical country where flooding is a constant hazard.

ASIS Boats therefore built two 7.5 meter long Rigid Inflatable Boats, using a marine grade aluminum hull and deck, coupled with a protective Orca Hypalon 1670 Dtex collar keeping the boats steady and allowing for a smoother ride.

Both boats were equipped with:

  • 2 x Ullman Biscaya Jockey Suspension Seats (For Pilot & Co-Pilot).
  • 2 x Triple Jockey Seats.
  • Black Painted Heavy Duty ASIS T-Top.
  • Non-Skid Deck Flooring.
  • Telescopic Tow Post.
  • Front Boarding Platform with Rail.
  • Diving Notches.

They have also been equipped with two 350 liters Marine Grade Aluminum fuel tanks for a total capacity of 700 liters offering a comfortable operational range of up to 10 continuous hours.
