Port Autonome d’Abidjan accredited ISO 27001 for information security

On December 18, 2023, the Port Autonome d’Abidjan (PAA) reached a crucial milestone in its commitment to information security by obtaining ISO 27001:2022 certification, an international reference standard for the implementation and effective management of an Information Security Management System (ISMS).

This certification, issued by the Management Systems Evaluation and Certification body (MSECB), testifies to the AAP’s ongoing commitment to the rigorous protection of its strategic data and information, through the implementation of robust security measures to identify, manage and mitigate information security risks, in order to ensure the availability, confidentiality and integrity of information, in compliance with the most stringent standards.

ISO 27001:2022 certification attests that the processes put in place by the PAA are in line with current issues in its sector of activity.

In addition to this latest certification, the Port Autonome d’Abidjan can already boast certification to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality standard, the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental standard, and the ISPS Code for Port Facility Security. These international recognitions reinforce the PAA’s reputation for compliance with quality, environmental and safety standards, testifying to the quality of its governance, with a view to continually reinforcing its leadership on the West African coast.
