SIGNING OF A PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GABONESE SHIPPERS’ COUNCIL AND OWENDO CONTAINER TERMINAL

Within the framework of a common ambition to reinforce control mechanisms, Owendo Container Terminal (OCT), Operator of the container terminal of the Port of Owendo, and the Gabonese Shippers’ Council (CGC) signed a partnership agreement on Thursday 22 September 2022.

This partnership is part of a shared vision concerning the exchange of information relating to the entry and exit movements of containers in the Owendo port container terminal.

The signing of this contract between Mr. Pierre Moïse MBA, General Manager of the Gabonese Shippers’ Council and Mr. Laurent GOUTARD, General Manager of Owendo Container Terminal, took place at OCT’s head office.

During his speech, Mr. Pierre Moïse MBA, Director General of the Gabonese Shippers’ Council, stressed the importance of such a partnership which will contribute greatly to the securing of state revenues and consequently to the fight against possible fraud.
